INTRODUCTION

          In improving the nation's competitiveness, higher achievement plays an important role. This can be evidenced by the provision given to students in the form of knowledge of hard skills and soft skills with the effort to speak foreign languages such as like English that can also build a competitive spirit inside for the student. In this era of globalization, we are required to adapt a generally acceptable order of life which needs to able speak English which is already a very important role in terms of real contribution because sharing and getting knowledge are not only limited in a classroom circle. It can be achieved from the outside,. English Student Sharing Community (ESSCO) build to overcome and facilitate the students which has speialization to the students in order to improve the english skill for successful learning outcome. This community endeavors to understand and appreciate ELED students’ in implementing the theory and practical used in English so that they can be more active, creative and also innovative. We believe in encouraging the language acquisition and personal progress of students in an atmosphere of support, openness, and understanding through the discussion and sharing related information.

Vision:

Developing Sudents’ Skill in English Language Education Department that can work professionally and compete with global society through social community programs.

Misision:

- To facilitate the students in social’s concern and responsibility to the environment which can implement the english skill

- To establish the students in ELED UMM to be one consideration and work together in harmony

- Providing wide and equal access in learning english

The logo has some meanings. Lamp means the symbol of an idea of creativity as the way how they create their own program and they have an initiative to encourage the grade of English Department of UMM. The Black Pen means that ESSCO writes ideas and knowledges into a note and article to share with everyone. The name of ESSCO is an abreviation of English Student Sharing Community. This name means that this community consists of English Language Education Department UMM Students who want to share and develop their knowledge. The icon below ‘ESSCO’ is a book. It is the representativd of learning and wisdom knowledge
